Ukraine Introduced 100% Guarantee of Bank Deposits

The Verkhovna Rada adopted the draft law № 5542-1, which provides for the guaranteeing of deposits of individuals in full during martial law in Ukraine and within 3 months after its termination. This was reported in Telegram by the chairman of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Finance, Tax and Customs Policy Daniil Hetmantsev.

 

Hetmantsev said that today deputies passed the following bills:

 

Bill No. 5542-1, which provides: guaranteeing deposits of individuals in full (with no limit on the amount of the deposit) for the duration of martial law in Ukraine and within 3 months after its end; 3 months after the end of martial law in Ukraine, the amount of the limit of compensation of funds on deposits is set at 600,000 hryvnia.

 

No. 7232 regarding taxation of economic entities connected by economic ties with the aggressor state which stipulates application of coefficient 1,5 to the rates of corporate income tax, ecological tax, rent and property tax (as a basis) for taxation of international companies in Ukraine whose branches continue to operate in the Russian Federation;

 

No. 7233 concerning the collection of a single fee and accounting of denatured ethyl alcohol and chemical and technical products (as a basis);

 

No. 7234 concerning administration of certain taxes in the period of martial law, state of emergency, which, inter alia, provides for removal of restrictions on the volume of income as a basis for registration of the single tax payer of the third group at the rate of 2%, defining the specifics of taxation of corporate income tax in the transition to the single tax of the third group at the rate of 2% and the restoration of tax payment after transition from the simplified taxation system to general.
