The EU Council has agreed that the sixth package of sanctions against Russia will include an embargo on Russian oil products. A temporary exception is crude oil delivered by pipeline. This was reported by Radio Liberty journalist Rikard Jozwiak.
"The EU Council has agreed that the sixth package of sanctions against Russia will cover crude oil as well as petroleum products supplied from Russia to member states, with a temporary exception being crude oil supplied by pipeline," Jozwiak wrote.
The journalist noted that the European Council called for the issue of a temporary exemption for crude oil delivered by pipeline to be considered as soon as possible.
