Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky stressed in his video address that the current occupant offensive in Donbas could make the region desolate. The Russian invaders want to turn Popasna, Bakhmut, Liman, Lisichansk, and Severodonetsk into ashes.
"The current offensive of the occupants in Donbass can make this region deserted. They want to turn Popasna, Bakhmut, Liman, Lisichansk, Severodonetsk simply into ashes. Like Volnovakha, like Mariupol. In towns and communities closer to the Russian border, in Donetsk, in Luhansk, they are gathering everyone they can to fill the place of the dead and wounded in the occupation contingent. All of this, including the deportation of our people and the mass murder of civilians, is an obvious policy of genocide being carried out by Russia," the president stressed.
