Near Zmiinyi Island, the Maxar Technology satellite detected a Russian ship sunk in a missile attack. Two clouds of smoke are visible near the enemy amphibious assault ship of the Serna class, writes CNN.

How the ship sank is unknown. However, on Sunday, May 8, the speaker of the Odesa regional military administration Sergei Bratchuk said that the landing ship was damaged, as well as two Raptor-class patrol boats.

A barge with a heavy crane, which the company also identified as the Serna, was spotted near the island next to another wreck. As noted, the vessel made a sharp turn to avoid the missile.

The Ukrainians have repeatedly destroyed Russian troops and equipment on the island in recent weeks. So far, Russia has not confirmed the loss of any of the ships in question.
