Dutch Prime Minister Mark Rutte will address the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine today via video link. He was invited by President Volodymyr Zelensky. This is reported by NOS.

"At the invitation of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, I have the honor to address the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine via video link on Thursday, May 12. The Netherlands continues to stand side by side with Ukraine against the aggression of Russia," wrote Rutte on his Twitter.

According to political reporter Wilko Boom, the prime minister will reveal many secrets in his speech: "We cannot watch live, as it was when Zelensky spoke in the House of Representatives. It's all for security reasons. Of course, it's understandable, because the danger is great in Kiev."
