Dutch Prime Minister offers to buy Patriot systems for Ukraine from other countries

Dutch Prime Minister Mark Rutte has offered to buy Patriot systems from countries that do not want to transfer them to Ukraine, The Guardian reports.

He stated that many countries have stocks of Patriot systems.

"We can buy them, we can deliver them to Ukraine, we have the money. This is extremely important," Rutte said.

The Prime Minister noted that it is about countries that do not express their intention to transfer them directly to Ukraine.

It should be noted that the Netherlands recently announced the allocation of 4 billion euros for military aid to Ukraine and the transfer of several Patriot systems. However, Rutte did not specify the number of systems that could be transferred.
