Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said that Russia rejected the proposal to establish an Easter truce.
He stated this in his video message.
"Unfortunately, Russia rejected the proposal to establish an Easter truce. This demonstrates very well how the leaders of this state treat the Christian faith and one of the most joyous and important holidays. But we retain hope. Hope for peace, hope that life will conquer death," Zelensky said.
