U.S. President Joe Biden in a speech today announced a new military aid package for Ukraine. The size of the package is $800 million.
"I'm announcing another $800 million in additional military aid to Ukraine. It's heavy artillery, hundreds of howitzers and hundreds of thousands of ammunition for them. There are also hundreds of tactical drones," he stressed.
Biden noted that military aid is coming to Ukraine at a record pace. He added that Washington wants to help Ukraine repel a new Russian offensive in Donbas.
