US allocates new aid package to Ukraine to protect sky before the onset of winter

The United States has announced a new military aid package for Ukraine worth $325 million. This was announced by US President Joe Biden.

It is noted that this package is aimed at strengthening Ukraine's air defense before the onset of winter.

President Biden emphasized that this assistance is designed to ensure the future of freedom and that America will not back down from this goal.

US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken also emphasized that the new aid package will help strengthen Ukraine's air defense forces and provide the necessary resources to continue the counteroffensive against Russian forces.

The aid package will include additional ammunition for air defense, artillery ammunition, short-range Avenger air defense systems, 50 mm machine guns to counter drones, as well as other weapons and technical equipment.

However, the new aid will not include the Army's ATACMS tactical missile systems, which could help the Ukrainian military strike enemy targets at long range.
