Ukraine has temporarily lifted restrictions on connections to the Internet from Starlink. This period will last as long as martial law is in force. This was announced in Telegram by the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Digital Transformation, Mykhail Fedorov.
According to him, today the National Commission in the field of electronic communications, radio frequency spectrum and postal services at the initiative of the State Agency for Special Communications has taken a decision, which stipulates:
for the period of martial law, the use of subscriber satellite terminals SpaceX Starlink system is allowed to all categories of users;
amending the Plan of Radiofrequency Resource Use to regulate the conditions of SpaceX Starlink system operation on the territory of Ukraine in accordance with this decision.
