The enemy is trying to attack near Izyum (Kharkiv Region). However, the enemy fails to advance in this direction.
Oleksiy Arestovich, adviser to the head of the presidential office, said this at a briefing.
According to him, fighting continues in the Kharkiv region. The General Staff reported several liberated settlements. Arestovich specified that in this direction the Ukrainian military is slowly advancing.
"The main direction of concentration of the enemy's efforts is Izyum. There they are trying to advance, but to no avail, they do not succeed," added the adviser to the head of the OP.
Oleksiy Arestovich also said that the occupants are trying to advance and reach the administrative borders in the direction of Mykolaiv.
According to him, the city of Mykolaiv is shelled by Russian troops. All in order to force the Ukrainian troops to fight the enemy's artillery.
However, the adviser noted that the AFU there are cautious balanced actions.
"As for the Kherson direction. The enemy is trying to attack with the task of reaching the admission borders, in particular in the direction of Mykolaiv. Mykolaiv is being shelled in order to force our troops to fight the enemy's artillery, rather than to attack. But we are taking separate cautious measured but tactical actions there as well in order to defeat the enemy on the right bank," Arestovich said.
