The National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine (NABU) is temporarily headed by First Deputy Director Gizo Uglava. Last week, Artem Sytnyk's term of office expired.

It is reported that the powers of Sytnik expired on April 17.
"According to the law "On the NABU", in case of termination of powers or dismissal of the director of the NABU, all his powers until the day of appointment of a new director," - said in the message.
Note, Uglava since 2015 is a citizen of Ukraine. Before that he worked in the Georgian prosecutor's office, promoted to deputy chief prosecutor.
He is one of the ideologists of the creation of the NABU. In April 2015, he was appointed first deputy director of the bureau.
