Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said Monday, April 11, that he is working to create an international tribunal to hold the occupiers accountable and an international mechanism to compensate Ukraine for the damage they have done.
"We are working on creating an international tribunal to bring the occupiers to justice. We are developing an international mechanism to compensate for the damage caused to our state. All destroyed we will rebuild, every guilty person will be punished", - said Zelensky in Telegram.
According to the Ministry of Justice, 42 countries have already applied to the International Criminal Court in The Hague because of Russia's war crimes. There are also about 10 countries separately, which are independently investigating crimes committed by Russia on the territory of Ukraine, as well as within the framework of the Joint Investigation Group together with Ukrainian law enforcers and prosecutors.
