During the day in Kharkiv region rescuers had 39 departures, of which 17 - to the fires that arose as a result of enemy shelling. Also pyrotechnic units of the State Emergencies Service during the day made 50 trips to clear ammunition and other explosive objects. This is reported by the State Emergency Situations Department in the Kharkiv region.

Subdivisions of the State Emergency Situations Service performed 17 departures for extinguishing fires caused by enemy fire during the day.

Thus, rescuers went to extinguish fires of residential apartment buildings, private houses, garages and cars.

"Fires occurred in almost all districts of the city of Kharkiv, viz: Kievsky (4), Moskovsky (2), Nemishlyansky (1), Slobodsky (1), Kholodnogorsky (1), Novobavarsky (1), Shevchenko (2) and Slobodsky (1), as well as Izyumsky (2), Chuguevsky (1) and Kharkiv (1) regions," the report says.

It is noted that the largest fire occurred in a shopping center in Kharkiv. The roof and part of the premises on the 3rd and 4th floors of the building were on fire.

Thus, on April 9, the enemy launched another rocket attack on one of the residential areas of the city of Kharkiv. As a result of the shelling, a five-story residential building was severely damaged. Four departments of the Rescue Service in tankers and ladder trucks with 20 rescuers were sent to the scene.

Rescue workers rescued 7 people from the damaged apartments of one of the entrances, while 8 others were evacuated. Information about the dead is being specified.

Also during the day there was work on removal of debris from the destroyed buildings in the Industrial and Shevchenko district of Kharkiv.

Pyrotechnic units of the State Emergency Situations Ministry made 50 trips during the day to clear ammunition and other explosive objects.
