Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban invited Russian President Vladimir Putin to multilateral peace talks in Budapest. Ukraine, France and Germany could take part in them. This was reported by Reuters.
It is reported that today Orban said that he held a telephone conversation with Putin in the morning, during which he asked him to apply the ceasefire in Ukraine.
He also added that he had invited Putin to attend peace talks in Hungary, which could be attended by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, French President Emmanuel Macron and German Chancellor Olaf Scholz.
According to Orban, the answer was positive, but Putin said there would be conditions for this. It is not yet known what exactly the conditions are.
