Mobile communications have been restored in Irpen (Kyiv region), which has been liberated after several weeks of fighting. This was done with the help of Starlink satellite Internet equipment.

This was reported on Facebook by Vodafone representative Victoria Ruban.

"Thanks to Starlink equipment we were able to raise the connection in Romanovka and Irpen. I will not lie - this is not the first case in the world of the convergence of different communication technologies (first were the Japanese a month ago). We are the second in the world. And by extreme and realization rate we are the first", - she noted.

Recall, earlier it was reported that more than half a thousand hospitals in Ukraine received a satellite Internet Starlink.
