The enemy cannot launch an offensive operation to encircle the AFU in the OOS zone - a briefing by Advisor to the Head of the Office of the President Oleksiy Arestovych

The situation regarding the Russian invasion was clarified at a briefing by Oleksiy Arestovich, Advisor to the Head of the Office of the President.

Thus, according to him, the main news today is that the enemy is in no way able to launch an offensive operation to encircle our grouping in the OOS zone. So far he is only launching missile and artillery strikes. And this indicates an incomplete readiness to act on the ground.

Also the main thing on the briefing:

Mariupol is still heroically holding out. It is now being assisted, which is possible in a very difficult situation.

In the Kyiv direction, the enemy is making a partial rotation with the withdrawal of troops and overturning them into the OOS zone. Our troops are chasing them away.

Separate counterattacks by the AFU are coming in the Kharkiv direction.

Tactical actions of our troops against the enemy defenses in the Kherson direction continue.

Overall, the situation for us is optimistic. The ratio is 45 to 55.

Oleksiy Arestovich also thanked the employees of Ukrzaliznytsia for the evacuation of people and assistance to the AFU.
