Next week in Russia, conscription begins: Arestovich appealed to Russian mothers

The Putin regime will drive conscripts to fight in Ukraine. Oleksiy Arestovich, advisor to the head of the Ukrainian presidential office, said this at a briefing on Saturday.

"I should note that on April 1 the Russian Federation begins a conscription campaign for conscripts," Arestovich said.

According to him, now the Ukrainian intelligence notes a sharp drop in the share of contract servicemen in the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, Rosgvardia and others.

"We can expect Putin's regime to chase forward conscripts. Mothers of Russia, think about whether you need it, and if you don't, retaliate. Take care of your sons, they have nothing to die for in Ukraine. The Ukrainian people don't need this war, only the Putin regime needs it. That is what you need to deal with the Putin regime," the advisor to the head of the Russian Parliamentary Assembly stressed.

Recall that according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces, Ukrainian soldiers have liquidated 16.4 thousand occupants since the beginning of the war.
