Russian occupants are violating the laws and customs of war in Ukraine on a massive scale. This is evidenced by the intercepted telephone conversation between two Russian commanders, the SBU informs.
Thus, the Security Service of Ukraine intercepted a conversation between two officers of the occupation army with the call signs "Venets" and "Ratnik" in Trostyanets, Sumy region.
According to the operational information of the SBU, "Venets" is the commander of the 4th Tank Division, Colonel Yevgeniy Nikolayevich Zhuravlev. "Ratnik" - his subordinate, the commander of one of the units.
The commander gives the order to destroy the Ukrainian village: "We must work on Skryagovka, flatten it from the eastern to the western side."
"Ratnik", complaining about the fact that the AFU soldiers were pouring fire on them, reports: "...Now hit where they can hit from. There are residential areas there. They are now going to get offended again and go to work. To which the commander responds with a direct instruction to destroy two more Ukrainian villages.
"The SBU records so many such cases that the Russian military invasion can be characterized as a punitive operation to destroy peaceful Ukrainians," the report said.
