Fourteen representatives of local government are in the captivity of the occupiers

Fourteen representatives of local self-government are in the captivity of the occupants. This was reported by Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine Iryna Vereshchuk.

Thus, in the list:

Chernihiv region:

1. Tatiana Bezlyudna - deputy of the village council of Andreevka;



Zaporizhzhya region:

2. Yevhen Matveev - mayor of Dneprorudnoye;

3. Oleksandr Ponomaryov - disappeared in the city of Berdyansk, MP of the faction OPFL;

4. Ivan Samoydiuk - first deputy mayor of Energodar;

5. Serhiy Priyma - Chairman of the Melitopol District Council;

Kharkiv region:

6. Oleksiy Kartsan - head of the village Gremyach;

7. Mykola Sikolenko - Head of Tsyrkunivskaia commune; 

Kherson oblast:

8. Dmitry Vasilyev - Secretary of Novokakhovsky City Council;

9. Viktor Marunyak - district headman in Skadovsky region;

10. Alexander Musienko - Chairman of Chulakovo city council;

"Ukraine insists that taking civilians captive is a violation of International Humanitarian Law and demands their immediate release," said Iryna Vereshchuk.
