Iryna Vereshchuk asks Ukrainians who have gone abroad not to return home for the winter

Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Reintegration of the Temporarily Occupied Territories of Ukraine Iryna Vereshchuk urged those Ukrainians who are currently in other countries not to return home until spring, if there is such an opportunity. She announced this on the air of the national telethon.

"I will ask you not to return, we need to survive the winter," commented Vereshchuk in particular.

According to her, the load on Ukraine's power grid is now too great, and the additional number of people in the country will make the situation even more difficult.

"Unfortunately, the networks will not last, you see what Russia is doing," she added.

The official also expressed hope that already in the spring Ukrainians will be able to return home, including in Kherson region and Kharkiv region, and will help rebuild the regions. However, it is better to refrain from this now, she clarified.
