Zelensky called on Switzerland to block the assets of Russians held in its banks

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky in a remote address to parliamentarians in Switzerland urged the country to block the assets of influential Russians stored in its banks, and the Swiss business - to withdraw from Russia. This is reported by the UNN.

"Just as I would like Ukrainians to live like the Swiss, I also want you to become like Ukrainians in the fight against evil. So that there is no question about your banks, where the money of all those who unleashed this war is kept. It is painful, it is unpleasant, but it is also a fight against evil - so that there would be a complete freezing of the assets of these people, their accounts. It is necessary and you can do it," stressed Zelensky.

The president added that he expects a principled position from business as well, recalling that, for example, the giant company Nestle is not going to leave the Russian market.

"We now have a chance to show any aggressor in the world that war destroys not the victim, but the one who came with it," stressed Volodymyr Zelensky.
