As a result of the shelling of Merefa in the Kharkiv region on Thursday night, 21 people died, 25 were wounded, 10 of them are in serious condition, the Office of the Prosecutor General reports.
"According to the investigation, on March 17, 2022 at about 3:30 a.m. Russian soldiers fired artillery at the town of Merefa in the Kharkiv region. As a result, a secondary school and the town's house of culture were destroyed. Twenty-one people were killed. Wounded 25 people, 10 of them are in serious condition", - said in a message from the office of the Prosecutor General in the telegram channel.
The report notes that at the moment the work to clear the debris continues.
