The European Commission accused Russia of lying about war crimes in Ukraine. In addition, they called on Putin to stop the war.
This was stated by the Vice-President of the European Commission, the high representative of the EU for foreign and security policy Josep Borrel in Twitter
He also called on the Russian Federation to immediately stop the war.
"Russia's war against Ukraine and its people has now been going on for three weeks. For 21 days Russia has been bombing the cities of Ukraine. Commits war crimes. Making civilians a target. Starves people to death. Killing children. And lies shamelessly about it. "Putin's war must stop now," Borrel notes.
