The President of Ukraine announced the beginning of tax reform

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky spoke about the first two steps of tax reform in the country. This is reported by the official Internet representation of the head of state.

In an address, the head of state said that the Cabinet of Ministers has developed and agreed a package of solutions to support the Ukrainian economy, so that business functions and people work where security allows it.

"First. We start the tax reform. Instead of VAT and income tax we give a rate of 2% of turnover and simplified accounting. For small businesses - and this is the first and second group of FLP - we put the voluntary payment of a single tax. That is, if you can do it - pay it. If you can't - no questions," said the President.

The second step will be the maximum deregulation of business.

"We cancel all inspections for all businesses. For everyone to work normally. For cities to come back to life. So that wherever there is no fighting, life will go on. There is only one condition: you ensure the normal operation of your business within the Ukrainian law," said Volodymyr Zelensky.

He added that these were only two initial steps of tax reform, with more to come.
