Intelligence released updated information about the shooting of a convoy of women and children from the village of Pobeda during an attempted evacuation. This is stated in the message of the Main Department of Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine in Facebook.
"After clarifying the circumstances of the tragedy, it turned out that people tried to escape from the invaders on their own, so they started the evacuation without the "green corridor" agreed by the parties. This is very dangerous, because the occupation units destroy the civilian population without regret. There are a lot of examples of such war crimes during these 16 days of the war," the statement says.
The Directorate of Intelligence called on all citizens, who found themselves in danger, to follow the official information regarding the routes of evacuation and to use only safe ways.
As previously reported, during an attempt to evacuate from the village of Pobeda, Kiev region, towards the village of Ostroluchye, the occupants shot a convoy of civilians, which consisted exclusively of women and children.
