In addition, hail shells were fired at the location of the border guard unit "Mlachivka" of the Zhytomyr detachment.
It should be noted that the border guard units, depending on the situation, are redeployed to reserve positions and act in cooperation with the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the National Guard.
Regarding the situation on the western border
As of 12:00 p.m., the situation at the checkpoints on the western border remains stable and there has not yet been a significant increase in traffic through the checkpoints. Border guards are passing persons and vehicles in accordance with the established procedure, in accordance with the current legislation.
▪️The traffic at the checkpoints of Grushev, Krakivets and Shehyni on the border with Poland has increased and there are from 70 to 120 cars at these checkpoints.
▪️On the border with Slovakia, there are about 50 cars at each of the two vehicle checkpoints.
▪ More than 150 cars are waiting to cross the border into Hungary at four checkpoints.
▪️ At the exit to Romania, about 250 cars are waiting for their turn at three checkpoints.
The State Border Service of Ukraine notes that there are no restrictions on exit of Ukrainian citizens abroad, except for cases defined by the legislation. There have been no conflicts. The crossing operations are carried out rhythmically.
