In the Sumy region, police officers together with representatives of the military defense detained 29 Russian servicemen, the National Police of Ukraine reported.
"Thanks to indifferent residents of the Romny district near one of the villages, a group of suspicious persons in military uniforms was spotted in the field. The police, together with representatives of the territorial defense responded to the call and detained 29 soldiers of the Russian Federation," the National police said in a message in the telegram channel.
According to the message, the National police told the Russian Federation military that they were "walking on the map to the border."
"Currently, all detainees are transferred to the relevant authorities, where all the circumstances under which they got into the territory of the Romny district will be clarified," informs the National police.
