There are practically no queues at the checkpoints on the western border today. In addition, there is a decrease in passenger traffic. This is reported by the State Border Service of Ukraine.
During the day on March 10, almost 111 thousand people and more than 15 thousand vehicles crossed the state border of Ukraine in the western sector.
The border guards say that the figures show that the passenger flow decreased slightly compared to the previous day.
For the last day almost 94 thousand people left Ukraine. The major part of them - about 67 000 people - crossed the Ukrainian-Polish boarder. Now on this direction accumulation of pedestrians, cars and passenger buses is minimal.
"More than 17 thousand people arrived in Ukraine in the past 24 hours, almost 14 thousand of whom are Ukrainians. Most of them-men who plan to defend the future of their country. We are proud of our compatriots! By the way, in the last 15 days about 205 thousand of our compatriots returned to Ukraine", "- said in the State Border Service of Ukraine.
As of 12 o'clock at all 24 checkpoints on the western border there are some small queues or there are no queues at all.
