A green corridor was created in Sumy on Tuesday, March 8. The first stage of the evacuation of the civilian population began in the city.

"Sumy was given a green corridor, the first stage of the evacuation began," the message said.
The published footage shows that people are being taken out in buses with a red cross. Evacuation will take the following route: Sumy - Golubovka - Lokhvitsa - Lubny - Poltava.
Recall that Ukraine, Russia and the Red Cross agreed on a humanitarian corridor for evacuation from Sumy. A ceasefire was declared in the region.
In addition, according to Minister for Reintegration Irina Vereshchuk, Ukraine sent for approval evacuation routes from Kiev, Kiev region, Volnovakha, Mariupol, Kharkiv and Kharkiv region.
