At night, Russian occupants dropped air bombs on Sumy and the Sumy region. As a result, residential buildings were bombed, and there were fatalities, including children. About this in a video message regarding the results on March 7, said the chairman of the Sumy regional military administration Dmitry Zhivitsky.
"It was very turbulent in the Sumy region. There were casualties among our tero-military men as well: our guys gave battle to a whole column of enemy equipment, their vehicle was shot, there are wounded and, unfortunately, four young guys were killed in an unequal battle with the Russian military," he said.
Zhivitsky noted that there was an air raid in the evening.
"There were aerial bombardments of the suburbs of the city of Sumy. Residential houses in some settlements were bombed. And just almost in the center of Sumy, on Romenskaya Street, several houses were bombed. Completely wiped off the face of the earth. These are private houses. There are victims. Unfortunately, there were children killed. And the death toll is already over 10 people," he said.
