Russian occupants who are in Kherson region have not approved the creation of a "green corridor" for the delivery of humanitarian aid to the region, the head of the Kherson regional military administration, Gennadiy Laguta, said.

"As I have just been informed that the occupants have not given their approval for a "green corridor" for the delivery of humanitarian aid to the Kherson region. The Ukrainian authorities formed 19 trucks to provide the needs of Kherson and the region with the most necessary things. And now the Rashists say they will provide humanitarian aid themselves," Laguta wrote in a telegram on Friday.

He promised to continue to demand that the occupiers be able to bring in Ukrainian humanitarian aid.

"Thanks also to Kherson Mayor Igor Kolyhaev for the efforts he is making to provide for the needs of the city's residents," Laguta concluded.
