"Prosecutors under a special regime of pre-trial investigation under martial law (Article 615 of the Code of Criminal Procedure of Ukraine) have taken into custody 27 members of the armed forces of the Russian Federation suspected of encroachment on the territorial integrity and inviolability of Ukraine (Part 2 Article 110 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine)", - said in a message from the Office of the Prosecutor General in Telegram-channel.
According to the investigation, the suspects carry out criminal orders of the Russian leadership to kill soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and civilians.
"With the use of military equipment on February 24, 2022 at 4 o'clock from the territory of the Russian Federation, they illegally crossed the border of Ukraine and engaged in combat with soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. 14 people were detained in Sumy, 8 in Konotopsk and 5 in Sumy districts. Among the detainees are a sniper and a platoon commander. The youngest is 19 years old", - the report says.
