The Office of the Prosecutor General of Ukraine opened a criminal case after a meeting of the Security Council of the Russian Federation on the recognition of the "L/DNR", said Prosecutor General Irina Venediktova.
The prosecutor's office registered criminal proceedings under Part 2 of Article 110 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (public calls for deliberate actions to change the borders of the territory of Ukraine, committed by a representative of the authorities).
"The law forces us to respond to the crime committed and be responsible for the procedural perspective of the cases. Our Ukrainian prosecutors will deal with this case "to the fullest extent." Going shopping for members of this closed club "abroad" will become difficult - we promise", - said Venediktova.
