President Volodymyr Zelenskyі аppointed former Prosecutor General Iryna Venediktova as part-time ambassador of Ukraine to Liechtenstein.

 The corresponding decree was published on the website of the head of state.

 "To appoint Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ukraine to the Swiss Confederation Venediktova Iryna Valentynivna as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ukraine to the Principality of Liechtenstein on a concurrent basis," the text of the decree reads.

 On July 17, Zelenskyі removed Venediktova and SBU head Ivan Bakanov from their positions and explained it by the fact that the large amount of crimes against national security and the connections of representatives of law enforcement agencies with the special services of the Russian Federation pose serious questions to the heads of these two bodies.

 At that time, the head of the "Servant of the People" parliamentary faction, David Arakhamia, announced that Venediktova was waiting for an appointment on the diplomatic front.

 In November, Zelenskyi appointed her the ambassador of Ukraine to Switzerland.
