"We have the right to live in peace": President Volodymyr Zelensky appealed to Ukrainians

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky recorded a video address to Ukrainians in honor of Unity Day. The guarantor noted that the situation in the country is stable, and the citizens of Ukraine have the right to calm and peace.

The head of state published the address on his official page in the network Instagram.

"We are all different, but we are united by one desire: to live in peace, happily, one family. And we have the right to do so. Because we are at home, we are in Ukraine," the president said.

Recall, on February 14, Zelensky announced that February 16, the date on which the Western media predicted the invasion of the Russian army in Ukraine, will become the official Unity Day in Ukraine.

The representative office of the European Union in Ukraine also supported Ukraine.

"Today we celebrate the Day of Unity of the Ukrainian people, which has been resolutely resisting armed aggression for 8 years. We remember and honor those who died for a free and independent Ukraine and the safety of its people. The EU supports Ukraine," the Mission noted on its Twitter page.
