The British Foreign Office will sign a bill on "the toughest sanctions" against Russia, - the media

British Foreign Secretary Elizabeth Truss will sign the toughest sanctions bill against Russia this week. After which it will be sent to Parliament.

This is reported by The Guardian.

The publication notes that the document was supposed to be signed by February 10, but the British Foreign Office said there had been a "delay" without giving a reason.

"Our new sanctions bill will be signed by the Foreign Secretary this week and will be presented to Parliament shortly thereafter," the publication writes, citing a statement from Britain's Foreign Office.

They remind us that it will be the "toughest" package of British sanctions against Russia.

We shall remind you that recently it became known that Britain is developing a bill to tighten sanctions against the Kremlin in case of a new Russian invasion of Ukraine.

It also became known that the sanctions will affect Russian oligarchs and key supporters of Russian President Vladimir Putin.
