"I'm not happy with all the points" - Zelensky about the Minsk agreements

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky believes that the Ukrainian side is obliged to implement the Minsk agreements. In particular, because he is responsible for any signed papers, writes Interfax-Ukraine.

Zelensky said this at a press conference with British Prime Minister Boris Johnson.

"I don't want to talk about the Minsk clauses. I'm not satisfied with all the points. We have different attitudes with the Russian Federation to the order of implementation of certain points. But we are grown boys. We have to do something that can de-occupy our territories, in particular, protect our state in one way or another," Zelensky said during a briefing, answering a question from the Interfax-Ukraine news agency.

The head of state also said that Ukraine responsibly refers to the Minsk agreements, but, in his opinion, it is, "unfortunately, the only format that works."

"I no longer remember who signed the Minsk agreements. But I know exactly who has to implement them. We are responsible and accountable for any papers, documents or laws. We are responsible for the agreements," Zelensky said.
