The Elysee Palace has published a declaration of the advisers of the heads of states and countries participating in the Normandy format. This is reported by the UNN with reference to the website of the palace.

The document noted that on January 26, 2022 in Paris, a meeting of advisers of the Normandy quartet with the participation of representatives of foreign ministries.

"The Minsk agreements are the basis for the work of the Normandy format, and remain committed to mitigate the current differences in the future work. They support unconditional observance of the ceasefire and compliance with measures to strengthen the July 22, 2020 ceasefire, despite disagreements on other issues related to the implementation of the Minsk agreements," the document said.

The sides also discussed the importance of the Trilateral Contact Group and its work to intensify activities for rapid progress in the implementation of the Minsk agreements.

On January 26, at approximately 9:30 p.m. Kyiv time, the negotiations of the political advisors of the leaders of the Normandy format (Russia, Germany, France and Ukraine), which lasted for more than eight hours, ended in Paris.

During that meeting, the political advisors of the Normandy Four agreed on a joint communiqué and supported a sustainable ceasefire in Donbas.

It is known that Ukraine is represented by the head of the Office of the President Andrei Yermak. The Russian delegation is headed by Deputy Head of the Presidential Administration Dmitry Kozak.

The next meeting of the political councils of the Normandy format is planned to be held in two weeks in Berlin.
