Office of the Prosecutor General is appealing against Poroshenko's preventive measure

The Office of the Prosecutor General filed an appeal against the court's decision to apply a measure of restraint in the form of personal commitment against the suspect of the fifth president, and now MP Petro Poroshenko. This is reported by the UCP.

 

"On January 21, 2022 the Office of the Prosecutor General filed an appeal against the court's decision to apply a measure of restraint against the suspected people's deputy, the fifth President of Ukraine in the form of personal commitment," - said in the message.

 

It is reported that prosecutors will insist on the application in respect of the suspect preventive measure in the form of detention with the alternative of bail in the amount of 1 billion UAH.

 

We shall remind you that the Kiev Pecherskyy district court released the fifth president of Ukraine, MP Petro Poroshenko, on personal recognizance and obliged him, in particular, to surrender his passports in order to travel abroad.
