The Standing Orders Committee has recommended the Rada to ban Tretyakova from five plenary sessions

The Verkhovna Rada Committee on Rules of Procedure, parliamentary ethics and organization of work has recommended the parliament to ban Galina Tretyakova from five plenary sittings because of her statements about the death of MP Anton Polyakov. This was reported in his Telegram-channel a member of the committee, people's deputy from the "Servants of the people" Pavel Frolov.

 

"The Standing Committee recommended to the Parliament to deprive Galina Tretyakova to participate in 5 plenary sessions because of her statements about the death of Anton Polyakov (10 members of the Committee - for, 1 - abstained. All representatives of the faction SN supported such a decision of the Committee", - said Frolov.

 

According to Frolov, the proposal, in accordance with the Rules of Procedure, will be voted on next plenary week without discussion.

 

Recall that during a meeting at the Rada, an MP from the group "Party for the Future" Ihor Palitsa said that an MP from "Servants of the People" Galina Tretyakova in the party chat "Servants of the People" reacted to the death of MP Anton Polyakov, saying that from now on "there is one less enemy".

 

The chairman of the "Servants of the People" faction David Arahamia stated that a letter was sent to the procedural committee to suspend Tretiakova from the sittings for 5 days.
