The Committee on Rules of Procedure, deputy ethics and organization of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine received documents to consider the suspension of the head of the Committee on Social Policy and Veterans' Rights Protection Galina Tretyakova from five meetings because of her statements about the death of MP Anton Polyakov. This was reported by the chairman of the procedural committee Sergei Kalchenko.

"Received the documents on October 19," Kalchenko said.

According to him, they plan to consider the suspension of Tretiakova at the next meeting of the committee. "I'm not ready to say yet when the next committee meeting is," Calchenko added.

We will remind, during a meeting in the Rada, an MP from the group "Party "For the Future" Igor Palitsa said that the deputy from "Servants of the people" Galina Tretyakova in the party chat "Servants of the people" reacted to the death of MP Anton Polyakov, saying that from now "became one less enemy".

In turn, Tretyakova responded with the statement that "when people who fight for freedom of speech, which is guaranteed to everyone in the room by the Constitution, and think that they can impose scarves over someone's mouth, it seems to me that "shame" to you.

David Arahamia, chairman of the Servant of the People faction, said that a letter was sent to the regulations committee to suspend Tretyakova from sitting for 5 days.

However, the first deputy head of the "Servants of the People" faction in the parliament Alexander Kornienko said that there might be problems with the suspension of Halina Tretyakova from the position of the head of the Committee on Social Policy and Protection of Veterans' Rights and from the sittings of the Verkhovna Rada for 5 days.
