Republican Senator Lindsey Graham: AFU will be able to launch an offensive this summer

This summer, the Ukrainian Armed Forces will be able to launch an offensive. This was stated by Republican Senator Lindsey Graham in an interview.

"Either we are going to help Ukraine or we are not. It's time to give them F-16s, to let them fly planes, long-range artillery to hit targets inside Russia,” he said.

Graham said that due to the delay in US aid, Ukraine has lost momentum, but now “there is a chance to restart this war” because Kyiv has weapons.

According to him, the Ukrainian Armed Forces need to go on the offensive.

“I think Ukraine will regain its military momentum in the summer,” Graham added.

The senator said that Putin's assets should be pursued around the world.

"Take the money from Russia's sovereign funds and give it to Ukraine. There is $300 billion from Russia in Europe. And there are sovereign assets that we should confiscate and give to Ukraine,” he said.

In addition, he said that Ukrainians are sitting on $10-12 trillion in critical mineral resources and “they could be the richest country in all of Europe.”

"I don't want to give this money and these assets to Putin to share with China. If we help Ukraine now, they can become the best business partner,” he said.
