In Sumy region, a decision was made to expand the list of settlements to be evacuated from the zone 10 kilometers from the border with Russia. The head of the Sumy regional administration, Volodymyr Artyukh, announced this on television.
He noted that during a meeting of the Regional Defense Council, the military leadership proposed to evacuate residents from eight more border settlements. These settlements, which are continuously under fire from the Russians, are located in a 10-kilometer zone from the border.
Artyukh noted that the relevant instructions have already been given, and the relevant services, together with local communities, will implement this decision.
