If citizens violate requirements for mobilization, the TCC can use force against them, - MP

The military personnel of the TCC can use force and resort to coercive measures when citizens refuse to comply with the legal requirements for mobilization. This was stated in an interview with Ukrainian MP Ruslan Horbenko.

“Representatives of the TCC may use force and resort to coercive measures in cases where citizens refuse to comply with the legal requirements for mobilization. Such actions can also be justified in cases of detention of persons who have left a military unit or place of service without permission,” explained the MP.

The MP also noted that statements about cases of use of force by the TCC servicemen are being spread online.

“However, now there are claims of beatings or even murders of people at the hands of the TCC employees. Of course, it is necessary to conduct investigations into such cases and conduct thorough inspections of recruitment center employees,” he said.

Horbenko said that there have been cases where incompetence of TCC representatives caused conflicts. Therefore, proper selection of candidates for service in the TCC is necessary. In particular, taking into account their psychological state and preparation for communicating with conscripts.

“This will make mobilization more effective and build public trust in recruitment centers. At the same time, it is obvious that stricter sanctions are needed for illegal actions on the part of officials responsible for mobilization,” said the MP.
