Vereshchuk: Registration for 17-year-old Ukrainians abroad will be postponed

Registration for 17-year-old Ukrainians abroad will be postponed. The government has promised to adopt the relevant resolution in the near future. This was announced by Deputy Prime Minister, Minister for Reintegration of the Temporarily Occupied Territories of Ukraine Iryna Vereshchuk.

“We in the government are well aware that forcing students of non-mobilization age to go to Ukraine to undergo the relevant procedures will only increase the burden on the MMC and will not help with mobilization,” she said.

Therefore, according to Vereshchuk, a corresponding resolution has already been developed, it is currently being approved and will be adopted in the near future.

“Pre-conscripts and conscripts who are currently abroad will be granted a postponement of registration - either until they return to Ukraine or until the end of martial law,” the Vice Prime Minister said.
