The majority of Ukrainians said that the situation with democracy and the economy in Ukraine has worsened during the 5 years of Volodymyr Zelensky's presidency. This is evidenced by a KIIS survey.
43% of respondents said that the situation with democracy has worsened. 28% believe that the reason for this is the actions of the authorities, and 11% attribute it to the war. Another 29% said the situation has not changed. Improvements were seen by 19%.
The situation with the economy is similar. 49% said it had worsened (23% attributed it to the actions of the authorities, 16.5% - to the war). 21% have not seen any changes, 17% have seen changes.
KIIS sociologists have found out that 90% of Ukrainians want to see Ukraine as a full democracy.
