Public statements from the allies on new deliveries of air defense systems are expected in the near future. Presidential spokesman Serhiy Nikiforov said this during a telethon.

According to him, in Singapore, President Volodymyr Zelensky met with the US Secretary of Defense and the issue of air defense was the main topic of their conversation.

“Of course, I can't announce what exactly was discussed, the terms and the essence of it. But I can say that this is the topic of air defense for Ukraine, for Kharkiv, for civilian infrastructure, for people and for the frontline. And it received the most attention,” Nikiforov said.

The press secretary said that today Kyiv actively cooperates with the USA, and Washington, in turn, is cooperating with other partners on air defense supplies.

“We expect public positive decisions in the near future,” - Nikiforov summarized.
