Blinken hinted that the US may change its position on strikes on Russian territory with American weapons

US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken has admitted that the United States may allow Ukraine to strike with American weapons on the territory of the Russian Federation. This is reported by The New York Times.

While in Chisinau, the Secretary of State said that the United States does not currently allow such strikes, but in the future it can “adapt and adjust” as it has done before during this war as the situation on the battlefield and the actions of the Russian Federation change.

When asked by a journalist whether this meant that the United States could support Ukraine's attacks on Russian territory, he replied: “to adapt and adjust means exactly that.”

As we reported earlier, US President Joe Biden is considering giving Ukraine permission to strike with American short-range weapons on Russian territory.
