MP Natalukha on economic reservation: There can be no justice in the conditions of war

People's Deputy Dmytro Natalukha said that there can be no justice in matters of war and economic reservation, because without a functioning economy it is impossible to act effectively on the battlefield. He expressed this opinion on the air of Radio Liberty.

“Attempts to find justice during the war are infantile. War itself is unjust from the very beginning... Therefore, if we really want to delay any issue that needs to be resolved during martial law, we will appeal to the argument of justice. This is the easiest thing to do from the point of view of populism. But in my opinion, we need to talk about efficiency, because this war is won not only through justice, but through efficiency,” the MP said.

He also called public statements that only the poor fight in the war as hostile.

“This is all disrespect and artificial manipulation that the war is for the poor. A lot of different people are fighting. The question is quite different. The question is how to enable the Defense Forces to do this effectively at the expense of the economy. And if there is no understanding that without the economy, you can mobilize even 2 million people, but not have the resources to do so, then this means not understanding very basic things about how wars are waged, how the state and the economy function,” Natalukha said.

He added that if businesses are not given predictability about how they will continue to operate today at the expense of critical employees in the field, they will begin to close.

“This trend continues when chief engineers and chief technologists are mobilized, without whom the company cannot continue to operate. And not just the companies that produce cookies, although they are also important, but those that produce drones, electronic warfare: in the morning they mobilized the chief engineer, in the evening they are already thinking about reducing production,” the MP said.
